Wordcounts and goals May 13, 2011

Posted by Elizabeth Schechter in summer, the-end-is-near, wordcount.

Okay, according to Open Office, I’m at 68,694 words in Sable Locks, with an eventual goal of about 80,000.

That’s about 12,000 words to go. Maybe less, maybe more. Depends on how the three chapters I left to write work out.

I have 18 days before summer vacation.

If I can get in a measly thousand words a day, I can finish this before June 1.

So, that’s my goal. 1,000 words a day, every day for the rest of the month.
